Salon Policies

At BettyBoo Hair Salon, your time is important – and so is ours. Each appointment is scheduled to ensure you receive dedicated attention and a personalised experience. To help everything run smoothly for all clients, please take a moment to read through our salon policies below.

Appointments

All appointments can be booked online via the Fresha website or app. You’ll receive confirmation and reminders by text and/or email before your visit.

We do not take a deposit at the time of booking. However, your card details are securely stored on the Fresha system. If you cancel with less than 48 hours’ notice or fail to attend your appointment, your card will be charged the full amount of the missed service. 

Lateness

If you’re running late, please contact the salon as soon as possible. While we’ll do our best to accommodate you, your appointment may need to be shortened or rescheduled depending on time available. The full service fee will still apply.

Rescheduling & Cancellations

You can change or cancel your appointment directly through the Fresha app or website. We ask that you give at least 48 hours’ notice when doing so.

Failure to cancel or reschedule within this timeframe will result in your card being charged the full amount of the appointment. No-shows will also be charged in full.

Patch Testing

A patch test is required at least 24 hours before any colour service. This is essential for your safety and is a standard requirement across the industry. It helps us ensure there is no risk of allergic reaction to the products used.

If a patch test has not been completed in advance, your colour appointment will be cancelled in line with our salon policy and insurance guidelines.

New colour clients will also be invited for a consultation before their first appointment so we can discuss your hair goals and ensure the best possible results.

Health & Safety

To ensure a calm and relaxing environment for all clients, only those with appointments may attend the salon. Unfortunately, we cannot accommodate additional guests or children unless they are booked in for their own treatment. Thank you for your understanding.

Complaints

We want every client to leave feeling happy and confident. If for any reason you're not satisfied, please get in touch within 48 hours of your appointment so we can make it right. Refunds are not offered, but we’ll do our best to resolve any concerns. We appreciate all feedback, given respectfully.
